  Excellent instructors who know what they’re talking about! Robersy & Gene are kind, helpful and offer thoughtful instruction to build a thorough foundation of dance. I was not very familiar with Salsa On2 or shines when I started and they make it so easy to join in and learn! Great place to begin or continue your dance journey.

  This was my first time learning salsa on 2 and I will be back for more!! They are so knowledgeable and have this amazing ability to teach an entire class and still make moments to help us grow individually. The environment of the class also so positive, everyone is there just to learn and have fun with zero judgment. I also love the practice videos they would record after every class, it helped me practice during the week and feel more confident as the class progressed.

  This was my very first experience with salsa — I had never danced it before — and I absolutely loved it! 💃 The instructors at Malembe are always so positive and explain every move, step, and turn in a very clear and detailed way. If something doesn’t work out, they break it down slowly and go over it as many times as needed. I also really enjoy the atmosphere in the school — it’s super energetic and friendly. Nobody looks down on you, even if you’re a complete beginner like me. I was so inspired that I signed up right away for the second salsa course, for those who already know the basics and want to keep learning. You guys are the best!!! Highly recommend to everyone 😎✨

  First time taking a dance class EVER. Bersy & Gene made this experience so comfortable and comprehensible. I came into the experience knowing nothing about salsa, and zero confidence in my ability to dance. Now I’m over here trying not to back lead! We just finished beginner series, and I don’t want this to end so we’re signing up for beginner 2! Thanks for your guidance Malembe! Your passion for this dance is contagious! Can’t want to come back ❤️

  BEST IN THE CITY!! I’ve had such a great experience with Malembe Dance Company! The whole team is super friendly and welcoming. Robersy and Eugene are amazing instructors — they’re patient, encouraging, and really know how to make everyone feel comfortable, no matter your level. Classes always have a warm and supportive vibe. Highly recommend if you’re looking to learn, have fun, and be part of a great community.
